Well this is my first Journal entry but I'm really in a pickle. I joined DeviantArt because none of my friends really understand how much critique and gratification mean to an artist. Whenever I would finish a drawing I would send it to all of my friends, all of whom replied with "that's good!"....GOOD?! I spent weeks on one drawing...outlining, shading, perfecting..and it's GOOD? Anyway, I am currently working on a portrait of Christian Bale and everyone keeps telling me "it's good." It's very annoying to me because I'm not too thrilled with the picture. I just want someone to tell me that it does need work and to also help me perfect it. I'
